Pitch management platform

Sports pitch management software

One record per pitch, from main bowl to academy.

Track condition, programme and cost on every pitch you look after, with the same tool the crew already uses on match day.

What is sports pitch management software?

Sports pitch management software is a digital platform for stadium grounds teams, training facilities and sports academies. It tracks the condition, programme and cost of every pitch on site, from main bowl to training fields, combining weather, agronomy, irrigation, fleet and labour records into one place so decisions are made on evidence.

What it does

Six capabilities built for stadiums, training facilities and academies.

Per-pitch surface records

Each pitch (main, training, academy, indoor) is set up with its area, construction (natural, hybrid, artificial top-up), irrigation zone and rotation schedule.

Daily task and crew board

Mowing, brushing, decompaction, line marking, painting, spraying and renovation jobs are scheduled, assigned and signed off on a mobile board.

Irrigation and water budget

Site-specific ET feeds drive pitch-by-pitch replacement guidance so water is spent where the agronomy needs it, not on a calendar.

Clipping and growth tracking

Mower yield and growth potential per pitch confirm whether nitrogen and PGR programmes are landing the planned response week-on-week.

Compliance and certification

Spray records, water records and chemical inventories are captured to the level required by league authorities, environmental regulators and ESG reporting.

Fleet and equipment

Hours, services, fuel and breakdowns for every mower, sprayer, top-dresser and groomer are tracked alongside the agronomy record.

Who it is for

Built for the people who answer to the club, the league and the manager.

Head groundsperson

Owns the pitch programme and answers to the club, the league and the manager. Uses Maya to defend decisions with data.

Assistant groundsperson

Runs the daily crew, captures jobs in the field and signs off completion. Needs a tool that works on a phone with cold hands.

Stadium operations director

Reviews KPIs, costs and risk across all pitches and reports up to ownership and the league.

Sustainability lead

Pulls water, nitrogen and chemical metrics for league reports, environmental certification and ESG submissions.

How to choose

Five questions to ask any vendor before you trust your pitches to it.

1

Pitch-aware data model

Generic groundskeeping software does not understand the difference between a stadium bowl and a U17 training pitch. The data model must start with pitch types and use cases.

2

Match-day workflow

Look for tools that distinguish match preparation, match day and recovery jobs so post-match review is built in, not bolted on.

3

Scientific rigour

Every recommendation should be traceable to published, peer-reviewed turfgrass science covering disease pressure, growth, GDD and irrigation. Heuristics that cannot be cited do not belong in the engine.

4

Multilingual and multi-country

Pitch teams across leagues work in their own languages. First-class support for English, French, Spanish and Dutch is the floor, not the ceiling.

5

Real references

Ask for the names of working stadia and academies on the platform, and call them.

Frequently asked questions

Does it support hybrid pitches?

Yes. Hybrid systems are configured as their own surface type with the appropriate fibre density and renovation cycle so programmes are not mixed with pure natural pitches.

Can different teams (first team, academy) have separate views?

Yes. Pitches are grouped by team or use case and access can be scoped so academy staff see only their pitches while the head groundsperson sees the whole estate.

Does it handle match day and turnaround scheduling?

Yes. Match preparation, match day and recovery tasks have their own templates so the post-match window is captured properly rather than treated as a normal day.

How does it help with league reporting?

Standard KPI exports (pitch quality scores, water use, chemical use, renovation history) cover the formats required by major European leagues. Custom report templates are added per customer.

Where is our data hosted?

All customer data is hosted in EU data centres with role-based access, encrypted in transit and at rest. Customers retain ownership and can export at any time.
